Some cars run harder than others, and the Cobra and the GT are less than a 1/2 sec apart. That Cobra weighs more like 3400lbs btw, and with a couple little changes, it will smoke a new GT.

EEC Tuner and an off road H, exhuast, and gears is likely to have that Cobra running low 13's. The Cobra's engine is basically a 300hp+ engine with a crappy computer. If you were to swap the cam and add a 65mm T/B you'd have the basis for a 320hp engine with strong low end, and a hard core midrange.
So you think with just a cam I could put my cobra at 320hp? I doubt it would be quite that quick. You gotta think that a GT with a cobra intake and GT40 heads will make more than 250hp, so therefore its obvious the cobra's have a lot of untapped potential. Even with all the mods I've got now, the cobra is not that quick. Havent taken it to the track yet, but I would doubt it would run better than a 13.8. I just don't see a stock 94-95 cobra taking even a stock 99+ GT (manual).
