Default Nissan 350z...Anyone Raced one?

I know, its a foreign car, but I really like the car a lot. Was wondering if anyone has had a chance to race (safely of course) one of these and how it turned out.

I'd love to get one but just a bit out of my pricerange of nothing.

I haven't raced a new Z, but I raced an Infiniti G35 Coupe which is basically the same car. We went from about a 55mph roll and I put a couple cars on him up to about 100mph before we shut it down. Not sure how they launch, but they probably do almost 100mph in the 1/4 judging from our race.

I don't know how quick they are either, but I really like the looks of them. I doubt I could ever bring myself to by one, but they are pretty sweet.

Yeah, they do look very sweet. I love the roof line...kind of Porshe'ish. Anywho, I know there aren't many out there yet, just a little curious.

I like them too, and they are very respectable in the performance aspect as well.
Stock they will go very high 13's with an experienced driver and good track and weather conditions.

Theres already a company getting ready to release a turbo kit for them as well, that oughtta really fly then.

BUT as it sits, some are already having tranny problems, so I doubt they'll hold up when they throw the ricer aftermarket at the cars.
