Cool, i've always liked those cars. Are you going to drive it daily or is it a drag car for you?

Its gonna be driven to work and back a few times this spring but it will be street driven on friday and saturday nights...lol then off to the track on sunday.....now if michigan would get warm i would be real happy.....

Back in the day I had a mazda RX2 that was beating everything small. That is until in blew at aout 20,000 miles. But I was taken down a big notch by a Maverick about the same year as yours. I don't think is was a V8 thought. Did Mavericks ever come stock with a V8? I didn't think they did. If they did maybe that is what happened to me.

Come to think of it maybe that is how I came to be a converted ricer.

You have great looking car there. Don't see many like it.

Thanks.....Yes i believe some did my dad about 2 summers ago had a 73 grabber with a 302 it was the orginal motor so i would imagine some v8's were thrown in there

Yes there are V8s mavericks, and by the way what is everything you have done to your maverick and what is the weight at right now?
