![]() I recently bought a beater from my older brother Chris (BigCountryGT). It's a 92 Ranger, 4.0 Liter, 5-speed with 245K miles. Lifters tap like crazy, huge dent in the door, the whole 9 yards. But I digress........
I go to leave school today and I'm behind a 93-97 V-6 Camaro. I pull out behind him and he's changing CD's or something so he's going a little too slow for my tastes (30 in a 45) so I accelerate past him as I turn out onto the road, the tires giving a little chrip as I shift into second. We pull up at a light, both with cars in front of us. When the light goes green he punches it a litte. I get on it a little too just to show him I can spin tires too. Traffic thins out and I notice ahead that the light just turned yellow ( ![]() So I pulled up behind Camaro boy. The light on goes green and he nails it. I punch it too and we're off. I get pass the truck, switch lanes and hit second. At this point I'm about 2 car lenghts behind due to be being behind him at the light and switching lanes. I start to pull him him in second gear. I pull even to his door and hit 3rd. I pull my door up to his fender then hit 4th. At this point neither him nor I could pull away from each other, so I shut down. He looked pretty pissed that he got beat by such a POS ![]() ![]() -Josh, aka the tireburner P.S. I attached a picture of the beast ![]()
