Do you shift an automanic at the track?

I'm running an automatic 02 GT at the track on Friday. Do you leave it in drive or do you shift it. What gets the best ET's. If you do shift it then at what RPMs. Your input appreciated.

I don't know what you have done to your car but if it is stock leace it in drive. I have a shift kit and 3.73's in my 95 AODE and I shift it manually because it hits the rev. limiter in first gear. I shift first gear about 5400 and third I shift about 5200. I also leave OD off. If you don't hve anything done to your tranny, I wouldn't shift it manually. Hope this helps.
