Another reason why I won't street race in Vancouver...

Another two people killed... http://www.canada.com/vancouver/thep...-3F44A5D5CF94}

Too many inexperienced kids with no discretion or common sense.

In the actual paper there is a bigger shot of the M3 and man, is it ever mangled.

Vancouver is horrible. I remember when I was growing up in Kimberley I would hear about some accidents in Vancouver. Someone always dies too. I think it is because Vancouver has some of the crappiest roads of any city I've been in. Very busy, very crowded.

You're smart not to want to race in Vancouver!

why would you even race two stock beamers, sounds pretty useless to me..they don't take it to the track because everybody would laugh at such a stupid race ,two slow cars, didn't they hit train tracks and then crashed?

Doesn't sound like a street racing issue to me. Sounds like a bunch of stupid *** punks getting drunk and going out to tear it up. I have no sympathy for the kid. He could have killed other people if he was drunk.

Reap what you sow.

You won't race anywhere ya wussie! ;)

Ever notice that in almost every street racing accident in Van, it's always young asian guys who are the drivers?

The Asians down in Vancouver tend to be very concerned about their "image". And are always doing stupid stuff to look and feel cool... Unfortunately, it's also often very dangerous.

When I was in Van 2 weeks ago I saw a lowered geo tracker! Yup, a lowered 4x4! Man was it god-aweful looking too! Had those super small rims on it (like 11"?) that are so small they can't clear the brakes so there's NO backspaceing whatsoever. This equates to the wheels sticking completely out of the wheel wells. And they were gold 50+ spoke rims too!

I agree, It's true the street racing accidents around hear are always young east indian or asian.I don't know if they can't drive,or they just don't think about what could happen, there is a time and place for street racing, who ever goes to street races or actually does it,they have to take into consideration that something might happen, and if something does happen then that is the price they pay

I mostly meant that there's no way I'd take a stoplight race anywhere around here. I do realize that the organized races are a completely different ball game but stuff like this only makes the cops crack down even more on the organized races. Besides, only a month and a half until Mission opens up.

Personally, I don't feel sorry for a 22 year old part time student with a $60,000 car either.

The way i feel about it is, that these kids who are killing themselves & others in these racing accidents have no respect for the car(it was probably a mommy/daddy handout), and no respect for the people they could injure.

I am not saying i am perfect, and always drive 50 when the sign says that, but if i speed, i do it on a road that there is no people(None, if i see a person, a car, anything, i will immediatly slow down) that i could injure, just myself in the unlikely event that anything did happen.

I find now that driving on the street fast is getting kind of lame, always watching for cops, and i will loose my license, and most likely my car if i get caught, so i dont drive excessivly fast anymore, and i want mission open so i can get the racing out of my system for a little while.

keep the roads safe

No Kidding!! I wish I got a $60,000 car from my parents! I wonder how these people (or there parents) afford this stuff? Dam, I make more than my dad does now and I can't afford to buy a $60,000 car!
