Snake vs. 2001 Cobra vert. w/female driver
 

This was interesting to say the least. I haven't raced anything worth mentioning in a long time but then out of nowhere comes this beautiful Cranberry Red? 2001 Cobra with Black top, chrome wheels.

I didn't even see her coming to realize there were two girls(mid 30's) in the car. They were ahead of me about 2 cars or so and then hit it at about 50mph. I immediately playted catch-up and floored it in third. I reeled her in and this is when I could see it was a girl driving as we kept on the gas. I put a car on her at the end of 3rd gear after her two car advantage at the start. Once I hit 4rth, I pulled another 3 cars on her and pulling and just shut her down. They came up and the driver was laughing and we waved to each other. A little flirting went along for the ride too. That's when it dawned on me that I just raced the coolest chick in a Cobra(or any car except for my ex-girlfriend) I've ever seen in this area. This 2001 definitely had more balls than the yellow coupe I raced months ago.

What a beautiful car that was. I loved that color. Thankfully, I just washed my baby so it didn't embarrass me. :D

Next up... BBK Longtube headers go in the car in a week and a half. Can't wait for the torque..:p

My car runs strong but I wish she ran like she used to. I'm working on it though. Something tells me I'm about 7/10 hp off my best right now. I'm hoping the headers help.

I looked at a dyno run of the 2001 and could see the power is made fairly similar to my car but with a little more torque at peak. BUT at 6000 rpm or so, the power falls off the 2001 faster than mine probably because of my mods but the stock 2001 power drops like a rock after 6500rpm compared to mine. There was a 40+hp difference under the curve to 7000 rpm. This is where I won the race(i'm sure gearing helped) and probably most of mine. The funny thing that people get caught up in is peak HP. In my same dyno comparison, I only had maybe 9 peak hp more than the 2001. More proof that races are won under the curve and not just peak hp.

good run-chicks in stangs are the best,out here there are a couple young hot blonds that drive nice stangs[probably their boyfriends rides].There is even a group of young hot chicks that drive a 2001 Dakoda r/t black extracab with 20 inch rims on it,it looks kill and so do they :D

Lately I have seen alot of 99+ GT's around here. I would have to say that I have seen more girls driving them then guys.
