WOW Close call with a civic
 

Sitting at a light and this riced out civic with 2 kids pulls up next to me music bumping and windows half down tinted with that mirror tint. They are somkeing cigs like they are joints. I look over and start laughing. The little punk revs/Buzz at me!!! Its on/light turns green. I nail it ! spin a little and I look over and the little **** is hanging right with me. hit the top of first POW second gear now he is falling back, top of second gear look in the side mirror he is back about 2 cars. I look down and I am doing about 75 in a 45! SMACK!!!! the wife hits me in the sholder!! not with kids in the car she says. I say ok and slow the WINDSTAR down
I would have loved to have seen the look on the kids faces when they got beat by a soccer hauler.

That's great! I love doing the same thing to the ricers in my daily driver (all-wheel drive 5.0 Explorer) - they look over and think they are gonna smoke an SUV with their Fart-pipe Civic...WRONG!

Geno5.0, what mods have you done to your Mustang?

I need to just put them in the sig! heads cam intake the works! Just no power adders.Ie n20 or blower. but that is next.:cool:

What intake, heads, cam, shortblock, etc. are you using? You were able to keep up with 89 Cobra LX in a street race, right? He's running a CCM 306 shortblock, right? Tell me about your engine combo.

There are some things I dont know Alot of the things were done when when I bought the car. for what I do know here we go.

k/n cone filter,75mm maf,70mm bbk tb,cobra intake, svo alu heads (I,m not sure which ones?) roler rockers not suer what size( the blue ones) 24#ing, kirban ajustable Fpr,bbk shorty headers,offroad H pipe flow masters,under drive pulleys 9mm plug wires crane coil I dont know the cam alot of people I talk with hear the car and think it is the F or the E cam, the bat has ben moved to the trunk, it also has subframe con, and a shift kit ? on which one, I think 3.73s, I knoe I am missing somthing. oh ya a griffin alu raidtor. I sure there is somthing else.

This car had all the mods done to it when I bought it , it runs like a dream no problems. it screems in the upper rpms 4000 to 6000
If i get some drag raidals I think I can bust off a 13.1 13.2
my best time was a 13.66 @102.55 with a 2.16 60foot time. I did do some of the minor mods to the car ie fpr,new cold air intake,bumped timing to 13*, the car has 50000 miles on it ,

hey Nitrous al I was thinking about going the n2o route any advise this is a daily driver.?

1. Yes it helped me.

2. If this is your first time using nitrous oxide, find a Speed shop to install it and tune it for you. I blew up a couple of L98 Camaros when I ran them lean. I learned my lesson and bought a Ford and had a shop install the nitrous.
