60ft 2.46
1/4 14.72
mph 96

run5

60ft 2.4
1/4 14.7
mph 95

I was hoping for more because with the same set up I have run I a diff car with more miles and burning oil 14.2-13.98 depending on the day I only hit the 13 one time

Dont be to depressed, Your are losing alot of ET on your launch. If you can get your 60ft down to a 2.0 you will run a 14.1-14.2 easy.

Launching takes practice,
Low 14's will come,
Later...

is there anyway to get my 60fts down with out d.rs or slicks I dont have the money for new tires right now (255/60/15 bfgs thats whats on it now) my girl is buying me lower control arms but I am looking into which ones to get but that question is in the windsor forum.

What was the temp, humidity and barometric pressure during those runs.

The heat will kill ya.

Lower control arms will help by themselves, but good tires are a necessity at the track. Drag radials are a bare minimum in my opinion.

And the elevation of your track?

project2OOOGT 07-15-2002 11:20 PM

you can ride the h3ll out of your clutch but if its a stocker then your gonna need money for a cluch before long ................ looking at your 60' you are spinning BAD

I to agree you need to work on the launch, even on street tires you should be able to get down to ATLEAST 2.1-2.2 that alone will cut about .3 off your times. As for the control arms by the mac's mostly because for the price of standard lowers you can get both the uppers and the lowers. Also I would make the next mod a set of DR's you will love what they do for your time. Good Luck.

Also I will let you know I hope to make it up to the chicago area either later this year or early next year.

Im runing 13.9 with m/t sport pros, i have to leave the line at a low rpm, id have to say those 1-5/8 headers are hurting you, possibly, my car is light but look at my mods, still stock headers too.

get the megabites, and some subframe connectors would really help, i love my sfc's, my car leaves harder/straighter with them.
