Did someone say Throttle Bodies???

So I have been contemplating getting a larger throttle body for my 98 mustang gt. But my friend said that in the mechanic school he went to they taught them that putting a larger throttle body on late model mustangs decreases the efficiency of the car and it will run slower and crappier with it on. that is unless you put a supercharger on. Any experience with changing to a larger throttle body on a close to stock engine??? And what should i get 70mm or 75mm??

NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!! They suck! I had a 70mm on there...lost so much power...took that ***** off and sold it...unless you're taking in gobs of air, you dont need one...get gears or an xpipe!!

dont' waste your money. No need for a 70mm and a 75 would be a utter waste of money. a 65mm is good to like 550 hp.

I agree. Get a 65 MM if you do heads/cam/intake or blower. If youdo both, then get a 70 mm. But for a stock motor, keep the original in place.
