I finally shut him up
 

One of my best friends has a 91 CRX that we put a '99 japanese spec si (vtech) motor in. He thought the car was the chit until bigred romped on him. And my hoodoo isn't even all that fast. We were coming down the freeway at about 60 and he kept revving at me. I finally told him to hit it and gave him the head start. I sucked him up like nothing. So we get off the freeway, onto a dark untraveled part of the feeder, and stop. The guy actually asked me how to launch. Once I caught my composure and explained the concept to him his girl gave the count. He got the jump on me, but she WAS in his car. I dumped the clutch and started spinning he took off. When I finally caught traction, I started the pull. I hit second and flew by him. By the time I hit third, I was a good 1 1/2 cars in front. At about 4500 rpm I shut down and hit the brakes so he could catch up and get laughed at. All he could do was flip me off and drive away. I think he got the point. He has been talking chit since we put in the motor and I finally had to put him in his place.

those are the best races sometime when you can shut someone up that has no idea what a fast car realy is even if it's a "stock gt" :p :rolleyes: :D

What does your car run?...........If he sets that car up right it will run 13's with a killer mph.

All he would have to do is remove the Vtec crap and put a racing cam in there that has the Vtec on at all times and he would knock off a butt load of time.

Nice kill but watch out he may surprise you if he sets it up right.

Good kill, bro! I don't understand why those Import guys swap in another motor make only 40hp more than the original motor and think they'll win every street race. You should've asked him "Where's Your Crown, King Nothing?".

good kill man, you ever see a black 00 civic SI in baytown? its got a body kit, stock SI wheels and a big *** tach? its not that shabby, but he thought he was hot **** with his girl in the car when i toasted him :) i loved every second of it. i forgot what street club they are in, but its a big import one. mostly slow cars in there too :)

Is he the young mexican looking kid? I tried to race him a couple of times, but it really isn't worth the trouble. There is a big group of guys and one blonde girl that cruise around in their rice burners. They were talking a bunch of trash one night but none of them were ready.

If we are talking about the sam kid, all he's got is a CAI. Everything else is stock, even the exhaust. I was surprized about the exhaust, when the V-tech kicked in, it got pretty loud for a turd.
