Cobras 3-0....
 

Coming home from the movies last night I had two really close races.

I have 4 people in the car and I came up on a new celica, with a big wing on it.

We take off, he jumps on it a tad before me, and Im in 3rd at about 65-70, (~4000rpm). We hold damn near dead even till the top of 3rd (120mph) I slowly pulled on him to 130, but that thing was ******* fast, must have been turbo'd.

About 5min later, I got a early 70's nova w/ a 5" cowl hood and big tach. Hit it from about 60mph I pulled on him slowly to about 110-120, from there to 140 I pulled 4-5 cars out on him.

Everyone wants to race this cobra. Probably cuz its bone stock.

Way to go. The more you drive and get use to the 32V 4.6 the faster it seems:D

Yeah your right. Its weird. The more I do drive this car the faster it feels to me. While its just the opposite with my 5.0. The more I drive it the slower the thing feels. I dont get it.

The Celica probably had a turbo or nitrous and other mods...

Gotta suck to put lots of cash in a car and still lose... oh well, guess he shouldn't have got a Celica.. ;)

Awesome! Love to hear it.

ALthough, I don' t consider the Celica all that fast (ESPECIALLY if it did have a TURBO......) if it got beat by a stock Cobra with FOUR passengers :D LOL. To tell the truth, you're probably braver than I am b/c I don't usually race with that many people in my car (weight disadvantage). Thanks for representing us Mustangers properly even with 4 passengers. :D

Everyone just wants to tell their friends how they beat a cobra so they can say how slow mustangs are.

Yeah its ridiculous how many races I've been gettin in this car now.
