Hey Skyler, i lost that pretty stang!

Well, she got flooded to the dash during Hurricane Isabel in September. I am totally bummed about it. Although i have a new car now. I bought a 1998 Contour SVT, very fun car. Here's a pic, sorry i haven't been around lately, i've been trying to get life back to normal. Drop me an e-mail at: bmertes@ec.rr.com

Talk to you later skyler.

Water up to the dash. Salt water in the tranny, motor and interior. It was a total loss, with the exception of a few items that were salvagable. The SVT Contour has the Duratec 2.5 v6. She's a 5spd, pretty agile in the twists and turns i must say. As far as power, its nothing worth bragging about. 15.3's @ 90mph stock with a top speed of 143mph. The car likes top end speed, it walks alot of cars from 75-130 easily. Thats why it probably hung with your saleen on the open hwy, the low end on this car sucks. :D

So when did you get the Cobra? And hows Justin doing? I haven't talked to you guys in a long while.

Thats nice man. Didnt they come w/ a v8 one year too? Justin sold his camaro after he crashed it. He got a F150 w/ a 10" lift, and after seeing 8mpg he just bought a 04 Honda Civic now.

No, they only made the SVT's in 1998-2000, no longer in production. There were only 6500 something made in 98, 3 colors. Black, silver and red. As far as a v8 goes, not that i'm aware of. You might be thinking about the SHO taurus, they had one year with a v8 in it i think.
