vortech or procharger?

which one is produce most hp in base kit?i have LX 93 with port edelbrock performer intake,70 mm T/B,75 mm mass air,24 lbs injectors,short belt,pullies,header and full exhaust (2.5 inch)which one is easy to install,maintenance,reliable? thanks.

If it was ME,I would go with:
Vortech's.They are easier to install,maintanance all you really have to do is change your oil,as they are gear driven and fed by the oil in the motor itself.

and they are reliable

I have an s-trim that has served me well, but it is hard to ignore the 11 or 14 psi intercooled kit from ATI, especially with their new self-oiled unit- No more holes in the oil pan. If I do it again, I think I will try ATI. From what I have read, Vortech's water to air aftercooler system works very well, especially when used with ice @ the track, but it is more $ and is more complicated than a ATI's air to air system.

if it was me which it recently was i would go with the kenne-bell 2200 blowzilla,full boost at 2000-redline unlike centrifigul 1psi per 1000 rpm.on a stock motor i gained 110hp with this kit and the install was easy.i actually like the look alot better to.just my two cents.

I had a friend who ran the Procharger 21/17 kit. 21 Psi at the blower, 17 psi at the manifold, on 92 octane and 10 degrees timing. I guess my point is that the intercooler does work. With it, you can tune more agressively and/or run more boost.

Either kit should work great. If you get the S-trim I'd think seriously about getting the aftercooler.
