Thumbs up pulled a ws-6 with a passenger in my car

one night last summer, me and my buddy were out lookinh for races, when a 99 ws-6 pulles mext to me at the lights. we both knew what was goin on, so when the light went green, we both went, i spun through first hand half of second before i hooked up, thanks to my old bald tires, but after that i ended up pulling him by 2 car lengths already by mid way though 3rd, so then i gave him the old flash of the break lights, and he ended up turning off on the next street

I'm sorry, but he didn't know how to drive un;ess you have a super light car...pulling a 290-300 rwhp car with a 270-280 rwhp car with a passenger by 2 cars??? funny to me I think.

Good kill anyway

Don't forget that his lil' 88 notch is one very light car. I don't doubt it one bit.

I am getting so tired of everytime someone claims to beat a LS1 car they get called for BS. I must say that LS1 cars like all GM cars are very wide spread I have seen some go low 13's and some go low 14's and it is not just the driver, GM has been notorious for having cars run all over the board heck I have seen TPI cars go 14.4-16.0 stock and the same with LT1 cars.

With that being said Saleen GTS how is that combo working for you I am thinking of a combo very similar to yours but using a 331 or 347 cu base for it and running 11:1 compression. How does that cam idle?

I'm not saying he is a liar, just that every WS-6 or SS I have encountered have been very worthy.

Well, it works great, but now I am huffing on a 9psi pulley

Dustin, I dont have an intake or heads yet and I took an SS running 13.20's by a car an a half for the first 2 gears untill he caught me in the top of third. He had a waay better top end than me.
Since this guy stopped racing this WS6 half way through 3rd I think its possible. If the race had continued into 4th he might have lost.
