Cool

Stock-stock or mildly modded-stock??? 13.6 for a '00 seems like a miracle. Sure he didn't have a 75HP shot of giggle gas?

Tryme,

You can't say stock anymore... I have a K&N air filter now. Bought it on Friday at Crapytire.

hehehe... took me all day again to get that time... man it's expensive on tire.

Started out the season with a 13.84 ... not bad, I wasn't rusty at all!

Thats far from a miracle. You have several members here with 99+ that run extremely strong stock. I wanna take mine to the track and see what she'll do. I've beat some stout competition on the street and after seeing some of those guys run at the strip and turn in 13.4's 13.6's I'm really curious.

I did get some NITTO 555 (maximum perf. street tires), but they did not help on that day. The track was in pityful conditions.0

Launch technics... from virtually nothing about 1000rpm to 1500rpm. Then I shift from first to second at 5500rpm - 5700rpm, but here is the key to the 13.6, you have to make it smooth... elimate all the wheel spin from first to second... the last shift from second to third is done at 5500-5600rpm.

I have a question... what would make my car run a 1.48 60ft???? Is that possible??? On one of my runs, it came out with that number. I usually hit about 2.0!

Lizard - There is no way you had a 1.48 60 foot time. That would take slicks, drag suspension and about 200 more HP. Lasers must have gone haywire on that run - this isn't the same run you got your 13.6x is it?

Agreed ERIC. Screwed, lasers are the only way I can see. Like I said that track is going to shiiitss!!

And I did hit 13.6xx twice now,... with at least 10 runs in the low 13.7. (No it's not luck)
