Maybe LK took both headlights out for that 1.46 60' run. Nope, car without headlights ain't stock. Jeez, just wish I could run a 13.6 someday.

This ain't Texas and Lizard doesn't BS.
I've wanted to bring this up for a while - now seems like a good time. For some reason, the further south the posts come from, the slower the cars seem to get I figure maybe your tracks get used so much more, hence they are slicker and tougher to get traction on. Maybe it's the hotter temps you guys always have. Then there's the driver factor, but i won't go there For whatever the reason, i'm always puzzled when i read about buddy's GT who ran a record 14.0 when they run here consistently high 13's? It must be just me [This message has been edited by Try Me (edited 05-02-2001).] |

nate andrus, look at the quartermile video on my sig. That's a run with MikeMan in the car where I ran a 13.8xx with a trap speed of 82MPH... I was braking not to blow my time on bracket racing. My car usually hits about 100MPH.
And yes, it used to be stock (up to last friday) where I put a K&N Airfilter. (Big Deal) ------------------ Lizard King, Bone Stock; 13.69 at 101MPH • Extreme Burnout •2000GT VS LS1 • Quartermile run •2000GT vs LX Stang |

I think it's the humidity down here. And the fact the temps hit about 100 in the summer.

Lizard - I wasn't challenging the validity of your 13.66 run - as I know that you have said that the car has gone 13.7's many times. Sorry if I came off harsh.

Skyman, I'll get you the details ... the slip is at home, and always surf from work.
