Raced anniversary z28 again
 

I keep running into this guy when ever I go anywhere. He has a He has an auto z28 that is stock. Everytime we race I pull a little in first then start to pull harder on him in second and I shut down cause we are in town and I don't feel like killing anyone.

This time I pull up to him and talk to him a little and he said he put a cold air kit on worth 25 hp. He's got this big smile. I didn't tell him I put my new pulley on, which added a couple pounds off boost. We're ready to go at the light and a car turns in front of him so I don't go hard when it turns green. He takes of anyway, so then I hit it and I slowly caught up to him then when I hit 4500 rpms or so my car really took off. I pulled hard right by him then he let off cause of the car in front.

It wasn't much of a race but it did help me compare my before and after pulley install besides what it feels like. I pulled on him a lot more than before even with his 25 hp cold air kit. :rolleyes:

Yeah, that sounds about right, I think cold air kits and pulley changes are both good for about the same amount of HP boost. ;)
