Ran a 300Z!

I was heading out to my wife's parents house when I hear this real loud..."buzz". Up pulls this late 80's early 90's 300Z turbo (the older body style). His exhaust was so loud. I don't know how fast these things are so I got ready to give it all I had. Light went green and I got awsome traction. I pulled atleast 2 cars in first and then another 2 or 3 cars (total) in 2nd, 3rd and 4th.

I started to let off a touch, thinking I'd won (to 80-90 mph) and he came with in 2 cars and wanted to keep going. I hammered it again. I pulled away another car and I decided to shut down at 115 mph whether he wanted to keep going or not.

I had to make a turn off the freeway and slowed down to 40 mph to make the exit, buddy would not pass me untill after the turn. He just kept slowing down and down and stayed behind me.

Oh well it was a good race. What do these 300Z's run stock?

It depends if it is a late 80's or early 90's. In 1990 they changed the entire car. I don't know alot about the older ones, but they could be had with a 3.0 turbo. The newer ones came in two trims:

1. 3.0 N/A 222HP (high 15 low 16)
2. 3.0 Twin Turbo 320HP (low-mid 14 easy)
