Wink Ran it with slicks---Very happy

Times with new motor an 150 shot on slicks.
r/t; .641
60ft; 1.57
1/8; 6.98@99.7
1/4; 10.81@127

with out the slicks I gave up after getting sideways down the track and just spinning at the start. All in all, I am very happy.

4;30 gears still in for now.....I have decided to go back to 3;73's because will be using the car for a road trip to FL. Unexpected family problems( my grandmother is on her death bed ) This is probally the only time I will run it. I am so scared of breaking my baby. I proved to myself what she is capable of and I have nothing else to prove on the track. Now the street is another story. Lots of easy prey out there now. But I am positive I will loose some as well. It is all fun one way or another.

Damn 10's is awesome.

You should really find out what it is doing on the motor though.
With those 4.30's what rpm are you crossing the line at in 5th gear?

Skyler, Have no idea what rpm I was at. In fact I have no idea what rpms I shifted at. I have driven trucks for 13 yrs (big big trucks) and always listened to the engine as opposed to visual aspects for shifting. Probaly not a good idea but it seemed to work very well for me at the track as well. My freakin' dog ate my time slip about an hour ago and I am so mad.I have a chow and she eats everything. I was going to frame it. Yes, I am so very proud of myself. Maybe later I will run it again if I get the b@lls to.

Yes the driver's side wheel came up some. Sway bar up front too. I am happier than a pig in sh!t. Now if I can only get it to idle right things will be perfect. I hope the video turns out. If so I will post a link to it or put it on my user ride page.
