Roll Bar for a vert?
After my last run at the track being a 14.2 with lots of room for better driving I was told that when I pass 13.99 I will need a roll bar. Now I have a "style bar" and I understand that its not gunna help in a roll over but I really don't dont like the hard core look of a true roll bar. Is there somthing out there for me or am I gunna be stuck with hard tubes behind my head?

Get a hard top, and you won't need roll bars until your going 11.99 or faster, or stop drag racing... Or.... get your roll bars like everyone else with a vert Not much choice. Roll bars look sweet in a hard top, but in a convertable... Hmmm *thumbs down*

Just make sure if you get a bar that goes across the front seats to leave enough room for them to move back. Oh and be nice to the rear passengers and leave them room too.

Faster than 13.99 you need the "hard tubes" as you called them. In my opinion, the "generic" roll bars and cages don't look good in a vert with the top down. It makes them look like a Jeep.
