Default power steering hose re-route for headers

My son and I just put some Hooker headers and a Flowmaster dual exhaust on a 67 with power steering..The power steering hoses where very close to the headers..we replaced the worn out hoses with new ones and re-routed them..but we are not real happy with how we did it..brougth them out in front of the oil filter...we are wondering what others have done?
By the way... it sounds awsome..cam, water pump, timing chain, intake and carb next..
