Run in with a 300zx
 

Out cruising around giving a friend their first ride in a blown stang, I pull up on a white 300zx. We're going about 10mph and he looks over at my stang. I throw a rev, he takes off. I gun it, catch him fast, pull about 8 cars on him and shut it down. Is he done? Nope! He pulls back alongside, this time we're going about 50...Maybe he thinks I cant do topend?? :rolleyes: :p Well this time I oblige and take the jump...10-15 cars later im at 110 so I shut it down. At the next light this older asian man is just staring at my car like "WTF is up with your mustang?" It was good times. I think that guy needs to upgrade his car.


Later, coming back down this same street, I catch a light with a brand new Civic. Still had dealer plates, but the guy wasted no time in throwing a fartpipe on. He looks at the side of my car, sees the v6 badges I have placed on ;) :D And throws a rev, just smiling at me like, "Im about to get my first kill in my new ride." Couldnt let that happen, so I throw a rev back. When the light changed, he peels out through the intersection. I didnt want to launch on him on these street tires, so I let him get 2-3 cars on me before I layed into it at about 20mph. I pulled him in like nothing and whizzed past, giving him a nice look at my saleen bumper :D He was cool about it, and at the next light caught up and gave me the peace sign and shrugged, with his eyes widddeee open like he had just seen a ghost.

Am I loving the blower?? ummmmm.....yes! lol

You have pony badges on a blown 281?!

That's just mean.

No GT badges, no performance stickers, no "supercharged" emblems, no saleen stickers, no warning! :D

I love pulling up to a light and watching the guy in the car next to me glance at my badges then throw a rev and a smile thinking im a v6 with a body kit and some rims...then I open it up on him and the look is priceless!!

i raced a guy that pulled a win off because of the launch that had GT badges up front....but the cobra on the rear this was a 98 body style ...he tried to tell me it was bone stock....but i dont believe him...i thought it was a nice touch though...when you're beside him at the light you look over and see GT on a 98 and think well if he's stock this is cake then when he shows you his tails the truth comes out :D

Sweet kill. Any times with the blower yet? Its fun just crushing people isn't it...ha ha.

Looks like you've been busy modding the stang since I talked to you last! Where did you get the blower installed? That's my next mod and I'm trying to find a good shop to do it.

I put it in with my buddy. He knows his shiet...he's training to be a mechanic right now. Hit me up if you want his #.

and yea, the car is a little more modded than the last time we met up ;)

You're killing me!!! I have to look out the window and watch the snow fall while you're talking about all these kills. ;)

Um, I went with the Vortech V2-SQ (super quiet) model blower. It was a simple choice, because my friend GAVE it to me for FREE!! lol....so, yea...If I had an 89, i'd do heads/cam/intake before I bolted a blower on, though. Thats whats in the cobra's future.
