Saturday nite races
 

Put a new cap and rotor and some new oil in my car and went out to the races tonite in Htown. Tons and tons of people on westhemier, lot of ppl meeting up at sonic, mostly rice but some muscle... tried to go out to brentmore and pinemont, no one around at all. I guess they are shut down for good. Any houston guys out there know where every1 goes now? Shoot me a pm... decided to go back to westhemier and cruise and got into a few races.... first one was a ls1, sounded really mean...guy let me have the jump, I had him by 2 cars out of the hole(maybe he spun or something) and then he came flying by me and had at least 4 cars on me by 60 and pulling hard. We got to a light I could hear it camming, he had at least headers, no cats and borla and a cam....probably other usual boltons too what kind of hp would that thing make? It was really quick.... ran a lt1 with borla and some other boltons and lost again. :( Not a good nite for running chevys, had to go beat up on 2 riced out civics with lots of gauges after that to get my self esteem back, beat them as bad as the ls1 beat me. :D Anyway just bored and thought i would post....

I have always liked your car. Those LS1's are quick. He must have some serious power to put that mnay lenghts on you. I love your post because you are always honest it seems even when you lose. Sounds like you had some fun though.

Thanks man.... I know my car isn't the fastest out there or even close but I love racing even if I loose, i'll race anyone ;)...the car is getting some miles on it so i'm saving up for a new motor with some real mods now(heads/cam/intake). Sorry to see that you went to the darkside :mad: j/k... I wish my car ran that quick stock!!! What mods do you have planned for it?
