SC Cougar
Hey guys
My uncle and I were talking about cars last weekend. He wasn't talking down my stang, but he did say his 89 Supercharged Cougar (V6) would stomp my Mustang any day. He said before he sold the car, he would kill Mustangs and Camaros all the time. These cars weren't really that fast were they? I think he's full of sh1t. ------------------ 93 LX 1"5/8 shorties, 2 1/2 mandrel bent off road H Pipe, Dynamax cat back, K&N Air silencer removed, Taylor wires, 3.55 gears, Hurst Shifter, March Performance Pulleys, 14 degree timing |

With those mods you should blow his stock *** off the road.
He's got a low 15 second car. He might be able to squeeze it into the 14's with some really good launching, but you should be able to pull high 13's low 14's. Your car is capable of about a full second quicker. |

I'm from New Brunswick. Long, crappy winters. I only drive my car maybe 6 months a year due to the excessive salt on the roads (you would never know the color of my winter car because of all the salt/sand all over it, and I just washed it last weekend)

Those cougars made 210hp and believe it or not, 315 ft/lbs or torque!!! Out of a 3.8 liter!!! not bad. You still would have handed him his nuts in a bag.
