viper would not play
I have just put some muffelers on my cay so I have been doing allot of street driving this weekend. I was on my way home when I saw a viper comming the other way. I was thinking to my self "why can't he be going the other way so we can mess around a little"? Anyways, the guy put on his left blinker to mke a turn but he had to wait for me to pass. When I passed by I threw a rev at him just to say hi. He then made his turn then backed out and started to follow me. I slowed down to about 30 mph to let him catch up but he just kept on pacing me he wouldn't bite. I guess the roll cage, slicks, and a big fuel pump hanging off the bottom of the car caused him to change his mind. WTF...

Hmmm, I would say that could be a factor. I know if I had just plopped down... What?... 70 Grand? in a car, the last thing I would want to see is LOSER slapped all across my forehead in the rear view mirror. By the way, I ran a guy in a blown (11 lb pulley) 347 the other night. I've got nothing but respect for that engine. We ran neck and neck and he had 2 passengers and a de-tuned motor.... no timing at all... Wow, I told him that car was capable of 11s. Glad to see I was right... ------------------ "The Yellowjacket" 381.8 rwhp 377.6 rwtq Only one thing worse to a stang driver than a cop with a God complex... It would have been an interesting race. Vipers are cars not to be taken lightly.
WADS56, I'm not saying you wouldn't win agaist one but I'm sure he would have given you a run for the money if he knew how to drive the car(which I doubt). What do vipers run in the 1/4..isn't it low high 11's-low 12's or something? ------------------ '82 GT 351W C-4,BBK headers,Carter 625 carb,Comp.Cam,Flowmaster exhaust. 1988 GT...T-5,bone stock |
