Scary!! cop almost pulled me over at 110mph
 

This may be off the subject but i thought i should share this with you guys.

Well... the other night i was in my 99 ford lightning I went out to show my friend what it can do. Just when i got to where there were no cars anywere around, and i had a long strip I punched it. It was a long 2 lane highway. i got up to about 110 mph and let off the gas. My friend said he could feel the wend just blowing oon him from inside the car LOL. low and behold at the same time we passed a cop that i didnt see. I drove the speed limit all the way home, and he was right on My butt all the way there. I pulled in the driveway and park it. I had a problem with this guy on my *** like that. I said is there a problem? and he said EXCUSE ME! "you guys blew by me back there i couldnt get you on radar, And couldnt ketch up to you untill way later" I was very sorry and said that about 5 times. He scared the bajeezees out of me but all he said was be careful to me. I prob wont be doing much of that quarter mile stuff on the road that much anymore. This cop was either really cool and understanded I was a adrenaline pumping kid, or he just didnt know what to do i was going so damn fast. :D Well thought i would share anyway

Oh!! That was close but you came out lucky!! 110mph!!!
I'm surprized he did not book yah for speeding...(even though he did not know the speed you were going) he could have just made up something. He probably just liked the Lightning and understood WHY you were going that fast.

I'm suprized you didn't get a ticket. I got a ticket for blowing by a cop he said he was doing 55-60 and i flew by him. the ticket i got was for violation of a traffic control device.

I dont exactly know how fast i was going when i went by him. All i know is i wanted to get up to 110 like i was doing the quarter mile he coulda saw me when i was going like 80 or 90 but i didnt slow down that quick. I sure am lucky

ALOT! umm I have a custom performance chip, K&N filter and mas air flow, JBA headers and custom exaust, underdrive pulley's, 4lb charger pulley. The truck gives out about 14 lbs of boost total. Probably about 430rwhp. The only problem i have right now is traction, I have 20 inch rims but the tires dont grip that well. I NEED SLICKS!!!! :rolleyes: Once i get some slicks i will probably run in the mid 12's. I love this truck!
