Sedanman Vs Modded C5
I show up at the local hang out and I see a Yellow C5, I had talked with the guy several times on the internet and I knew it would lead to a race! So I walk over and confirm that it was who I thought it was, he shows me his car and I show him mine, then we head out to race. We agreed to race from a 10mph roll. We kick it at about the same time and I go up in smoke (he spun a little) I shift to second and pull a fender somewhere in this mix the tires are still spinning and his nose is at my door! I grab and we stay dead even with his nose at my door! Tell over 120 or so. We tried to race again but no luck getting a even start.
He had a 2000 C5 auto 3:15 gears, full exhaust, vortex air box, and some other little stuff. He said the last time he had it at the track it went 13.03@109.5 I should have aired down the tires then I would not have spun so much, oh well. ------------------ 1991 Lx sedan 5.0, 5spd, TFS Heads, Cobra intake, TF Stage 1 cam, 1.6 rr's,73MM mass air, 65mm TB, FPR, 24lb injectors, , BBK Equal length headers, off road H-pipe, Flows, K&n , hurst, 3:55's, pullies, electric fan, mac upper and lower control arms, HD trac-loc, lakewood 50/50's on back, shift light, centerforce dual friction, and rebuilt heavy duty T5, A/C SP delete 255/50/16 BFG DR AL D/S Old combo 13.2@105.5 (Gt40 heads, 156k miles, Ecam, stock rocker arms, Shorty headers) New Combo ( |

No, I still have the stock computer, though I am looking into a custom chip but I want to wait till I get the TF intake and a 70mm TB.
Next year he should not be a problem, my goal for this winter: TF track heat intake 70MM TB 90/10 Drag struts Eibach Pro launch kit And of course the 150hp NX Kit! |
