Which Shifter???

I Have Eanough To Buy Either A B&M, Or Hurst Shifter. I Was Leaning Towards The B&M, What Do You Think???

I have a B&M and it feels great going through the gears. Some people like the Steeda Triax but I never personally never messed with to know the difference. If you do get the Ripper, you will notice a BIG difference.

Personally id go for the pro 5.0 or the Tri-ax. I have drove a GT with a ripper, 5.0, and the tri-ax. I like the feel of the pro 5.0 the best. The ripper didnt impress me that much. :shrug:

I love my Hurst shifter. I have never ever missed a gear. It just feels so good when shifting. I have a friend with a pro 5.0 and did not care for it as opposed to my hurst. Just my opinion though.

There's a guy locally here that sells the Tri-Ax. Consequently, my buddy bought one. It's a lot nicer than my B&M so if you're gonna save and buy from the States, I'd say go Steeda. Aside from that, my B&M was a huge improvement over stock. A must-do mod.

Hurst is crap.....had 2, first one broke, second one fell apart. I have a Steeda Ti-Ax now and absolutley LOVE it!!!

ok, i only want to buy a shifter for a t-5 once, so should i go with the steeda tri-ax or pro 5.0????

I really like my pro5.0 It seems to be much more solid than the competition.

I've had the B&M Ripper and it was a big difference over stock, then I got the PRO 5.0 and it was a HUGE difference over the ripper.

I'm getting a Blue Thunder to go with a new Tremec. I know very little about it. I'm going off of a strong recommendation by my mechanic friend at Xtreme Mustang Performance.

I'll let you know after it's installed

I'm sorry but you just can't beat the PRO 5.0. I don't care how strong the recommendation was, PRO 5.0 is the best of the best. But that is what I would do, buy a shifter that I know very little about.

HE has a way of unintentionally making people look like idiots, but he doesn't do it intentionally. H really is a good guy.

Do what you want, just stay away from Hurst.

I don't know about the Pro 5.0, but the Tri-Ax has a spring in the shifter that automatically places it in the 3rd gear gate so you don't hit 5th or just mis 3rd totally. Kinda cool.

So does my Hurst. But as I said before it is personal opinion which is the best. Never missed a 3rd gear shift. Striaght up from 2nd is my 3rd gear---spring loaded

I have both a Pro-5.0 and a Steeda unit, and the Steeda feels more precise. It's hard to beat the Pro-5.0, but somehow Steeda did it. Either of those will be absolutely fantastic.
