I have noticed that a lot of Mustang owners talk about Centerforce clutches but they wear out a lot faser then most performance clutches.
That is BS. I had to buy a centerforce II(I wanted the DF) because that is all the local speed shop had, and I needed it that day! It's held up to about 50 1/4 blasts, and that is launching at 4500+rpm with slicks. I have dumped the clutch so many times on the street, big smokey burnouts,etc...., I am really impressed with the clutch, it's as if it were brand new. Clutches have about a 500 mile break in period, and if you go hard on it when you have 2 miles on it, it's not going to last. Break it in right. You can get the motorsport one, I am just a little partial to Centerorce, I've had very good experiece in all my cars with them. I suggest the Centerforce Dual Friction, and the pedal feel is pretty light too, so don't worry about that. But at $320+Throwout bearing, I think if I were you ,I'd go with the Centerforce II($169.99+$33.99T-B)<----the prices are right out of jegs.

Motorhead, the Centerforce II doesn't grab THAT hard, now come on....that's not why your 3rd gear messed up.
