Are you kidding me? Seriously, were you drinking and posting?? Let's take a look at this situation. My car is making 260hp stock. With what I've added, let's be conservative:
1. Bassani X-pipe (8hp)
2. Steeda Pulleys (6hp)
3. C&L Cold air, 80mm MAF (5hp)
4. Custom Tuned Chip, bumped timing (5hp)
All these power mods are probably underrated, but just so I don't overrate anything, we'll go with them. So that gives me a total of 284hp, and it's all going through some 4.10 gears in the back, and shifting hard thanks to a shift kit. So no, I hate to say it, but your H-pipe equipped ~235hp stock GT will not come out on top in this one.
Think about it like this: If I came on here time and time again and posted about beating Z06's, even C5's, I'm sure the BS flag would be raised.
I have personally witnessed a BONE STOCK 01 WS6 pull a 12.9!!! These cars can flat out run. I'm sorry, but 87 GT's do not have a chance in hell against a car with 100 more horses.
I have bit my tongue long enough with your posts!!!
Get a race on tape that shows you beating one of sedanman's or ezridn's LS1 bud's and I will eat my words. But I'm calling it right now: There is no way your GT is any faster than 13.7 on street tires. Best of luck to you.
