his profile says he'll be 16 in november.
302lk: by saying that the "The mustang runs low 9's on spray and the camero runs high nines on spray," you implied that you KNEW they ran those speeds (saw them at track, etc) you never said these were quoted times. 9s is ridiculous if these cars are out driving the street, why would you even post this as if you believed it. i think Dan's car is probably one of the fastest street trim mustangs around and is in the 10s (street trim) after MUCH hard work and dedication, and i doubt you'll find him racing camaros for $300 and respect on the weekends (but maybe im wrong). i doubt either one of these cars runs better than 12s.
even if the times were right it doesnt make sense like everyone said.... low 9s, we'll say ~9.2, high 9s we'll say ~9.8. 7 cars = 0.7... that puts the stang at 9.9 and camaro at 9.8. yet the stang beat him by 0.4? that means that the stang (no spray) overcame 1.1 seconds (7 cars plus 4 car lead) + spray difference (since he wasnt using spray). so if the camaro went 9.8 (cuz he used spray), that means the stang ran a whopping 8.0 or better on motor! entertaining story, but you arent saying you really believe this, much less want to argue it?
unless we arent talking about a quarter mile race, which changes everything, of course.
