Uh oh... here we go again...

The short story is that my dyno (a load bearing eddy current dyno, made by MD) places a load on the car that more accurately represents the loads seen on the road/track. This means that the resulting HP numbers are more accurate, but usually around 20-30hp lower than what you'd see from a dynojet. The real benefit to my dyno is that the loading makes my dyno tuning conditions the same as track conditions so that engines aren't as likely blow up later.
