In addition to the mass of the drums (the only resistance used in inertia only dynos like most Dynojets), my dyno has two very large eddy current absorbers. These are computer controlled electromagnets, basically, that are programmed by the computer to add resistance as roller speed increases to simulate wind resistance, etc.
