Post Firebird vs. Sick Pony

Well in the sorry state that my car is in, I managed to take a firebird. It was an older LT1 Firebird, but my sick near stock pony still won.

Of course it was not your normal race. And my car actually is running well unless I turn on the air conditioning, then it knocks extremely bad.

So I line up next to this Dark Green LT1 Firebird, but it was a chick driving. So I figured that see would not want to go.

Well I was wrong

She reved, I reved, and a way we went.

I had a better launch, but she started to gain early. My front bumper was at her door when I hit second. She shifted at the same time as me (I was at ~5100), which I thought was a little wierd as I think the LT1's have 3.27's to my 2.73's. Maybe she was over reving, but she had a poor shift and I put her nose at my rear bumper. We stayed even until the top of 2nd and when I hit 3rd I gained a little more.

We shut down for the next light. She must have been pissed as after the light she totally cut me off and continued on real fast. I was happy about the win, especially with my car's detonation problem lately.

Goes to show that the women like to have fun sometimes too
