I think you need more than a ported intake, and gt-40 heads to really pull an ls1, sorry, im no kissing any ls1 ***, just look at my avatar ,

but i seen my friends stage 3 poted trick flow headed stang have a, light mods ls1 hang with him from 80-120 mph, at his door, he then backed of and gave the formula the win because of some noises in his rear end that turned out to be a bad spring, but that same ls1 had cuttouts, gutted cats, lid, no motor work, and it traps 109 with stock gears, my buddies stang traps 112-114, but he has a forged 347.

So what im saying is i dont believe the stock e7 head will allow enough rpm for the motor to pull through 80-100 that quick, if ported aluminum heads are only flowing 60 cfm more than a 'stock' ls1 head, the airflow is there stock, with the 5.0 the bodystlye is there, but 225 hp isnt enough, but my take on it is, 5.0's respond to mods so well, thats why i love them.
