Thumbs up 15.289 stock!

Yeah im the driving master!

two weeks ago I ran 15.28 in my stock civic!!!

Time for some mods!

I also went to a little 1/8 track... and on a run I beat a 97 Mustang with 4.10 gear... dont need to say he did not have traction at all! but I manage to beat him by a BIG 0.003s!

so my new best times are

1/8: 9.810
1/4: 15.289

still slow... but damn fast for a stock 1.6L!

Wow, prior to this, i had said to people that the civic si was a solid 15.4 car, but i wouldn't call your car a "stock civic", its a "stock civic si". Shows your at least a good driver, now hurry up and get some mods.

hmm lets see!!

What Civic Si have and other civic dont have:
DOHC 1.6L 160hp engine, 4disc brakes with ABS, front upper strut bar, rear swaybar, 15" wheels and a 8000rpm redline!

In my car I have... electic sunroof, A/C, 4 disc brakes with ABS, 2 airbags, power windows, heated mirror, close ratio tranny, fogs lights. I think thats about it!!! And thats all standard equipement... only option is fogs light. I didnt get the rear spoiler!!!

Not really too much different than 30 years ago. I had a 1971 Fiat 124 Sport coupe with a 1.6 L DOHC and a 5 speed (uncommon then). It weighed in at 2250 lbs. It would haul a$$ for those days after I tuned it correctly, probably low 15's. Handeled and stopped well too. Very undependable though, forcing me to get rid of it. That's where the Jap cars have an advantage. They are relatively trouble free.

Man that is a killer time for a stock civic I did not realize they were that fast. If I would have been lined up next to you I would have been thinkin that i was gonna smoke you and been surprised as hell I know a guy with an si civic but his car is slow cause it has lots of weight in the trunk a boomin system.

Nobody has called BS on him either.

Now I say, look what a stock Mustang GT can run with a good driver. Can we say 13's?

Wow, you're a heck of a good driver. I was at a huge NIRA race at Engishtown a few weeks ago and there were a number of SI's w/ bolt on's only puling mid 15's to mid 16's, with more in the 16's then 15's. It was perfect wether too. 60 degrees and no humidity.
Good job.

The truly saddest part is his 1.6L is a mere tenth or two from my 4.6L ;(
Now that pisses me off.
