				 | 68 Fastback has no mercy on me It was a fun night but not a winning night for me. The streets are still locked down tight. The runs were kind of spur of the moment. My buddy ran his little 289 falcon auto against a 2002 Z28 6 speed. From a first gear roll they were dead even from begging to end. I ran a lime gold 68 fastback Mustang. He has a built 428 backed by a 4 speed and a 9 inch rear. I don't remember the gearing. We were both running on tires and rims. Him on slicks me on ET Streets. First run with this devil machine was a role from first gear. We were dead even in first then every time he grabbed a gear he inched away until forth were he just embarrassed me. We never ran from a dead dig. Go figure??? So I uncapped my exhaust and we went again. This time from a second gear roll. Even in second and then he starts to walk away every shift he makes. This thing screams! He raced with a passenger and both windows down. It has full exhaust and looks stock inside and out. No roll cage! Just a tach and slicks.

				 | Did you spray on him, or just run the motor? I'm surprised anyone is running at all down there anymore. It sucks pretty bad now.

				 | That's nuts man. There are a bunch of us going to Carlsbad on Sept 14, I think. Bring you car, and see if you can get the guy in the '68 to come too.
