race for cash!

Just last night I'm over at a gas station pumping some premium when two guys come up to me and ask me if I want to race. I'm not about to say no especially when I see they are driving a camaro. I don't know why but the first things out of my mouth was how much. They say $500 and I'm quick to answer let's do it. As soon as I come back out side(had to get money back from the fill up). As I'm walking I can hear them talking amongst themselves about the money deal. I'm also thinking to myself my car is running like a dog right I'm about to get my *** handed to me but I can't back down now. When I come back out side they are in their camaro and I ask them were they want to run and they just quickly admit they were only kidding and that they don't have what it takes. Whatever that ment. So I just say well I was only joking also not trying to make anyone feel bad. We each go our own seperate ways.

Then later that night I raced againts a civic that has nitrous (a friend of mine). I've been wanting to hand him his *** for a while. He thinks he's so fast in that stupid car. Well I'm sitting at a light in a busy intersection when I look over to the sound of a rev and who do we have there my friends civic. I roll down the window and exchange a few words next thing I know he purges. I'm like alright you wana race eh. Lets see what you've got againts this 34 year old car. I nod at him and thow a quick rev. By this time we've got a few on lookers that know whats about to happen especially after his purge which caught everyones attention in the near by cars. Sitting there he begins to rev up his little engine. I play it cool and set it the shifter to ratchet mode and rev it up to 800 rpms. Light goes green and I never saw him after that shut it down at 70. I must say it feels good to drive a v8.

This morning I finally found out what was wrong with my car. The right side a/f needle had only 2.25 turns when it needs 3.25. Gotta love the v8. Maybe I'll go out tonight also.

We are in the process of putting together a video project utilizing home video of various street racing activities and locations from coast to coast. We are in the process of looking for any video shot of street racing from any location prior to December 22, 2001. Must be an original camera master shot on 8mm, HB8, S-VHS, Beta SP, VHS. Must be owner of footage. We will buy footage and pay rate based upon edited and finished minute of videotape used. We have produced many drag racing videos for the home video market throughout the 1990's and have worked for ESPN, THE CHEVY MOTORSPORTS HOUR, SIMITAR ENTERTAINMENT, HOT ROD MAGAZINE etc. If you have any video of hot street racing action you would like to sell, please contact us at jhackl7777@hotmail.com.
