Yeah-
I took my car on the first WFC cruise to Bowling Green and was turning like in the neighborhood of 2700 and got 20mpg also I seldom look at my tach vrs speed--just keep an eye on the little yellow shift light..LOL I was going to change them out for 373s since I spray but I seldom spray on stoplight races-mostly for the track and at the local "on street" 1/4 mile mark offs....but thats when I have my slicks on which are 28s... alot could change this year though as I have just a ton of new stuff-plus a c-4 is in the process of being built so I could very well step up to 4.30s...thats later this year towards fall though. I think 410s work fine on the street-had em for almost 4 years now...just it takes you outa your torque band too early with DRs on(25.7 in in diameter) vrs the 28s of the slicks...also don't have to spray as much...saves on motor parts |

i am still debating what gears to go with in my project. i am looking more for a street gear than a track gear. i want the good acceleration, but i also don't want to be turning 3000 rpm at 60 mph. know what i mean? you're driving on the highway and it feels like you need to shift at 60 MPH, but you're out of gears. i will probably stick with the 3.73's...

4.10's and a 28" tire for pushrod motors, 4.30's for the 32 valve cars.

All I can compare is a 2.73 and a 3.73. And I LOVE the 3.73's when compared to the 2.73's
