I had two races tonight
But both of them I lost.......................
my first race was against my friend , he has a 87 toyota supra turbo. and I have a 2000 automatic V6 stang. we were stoped at a red light and we just waited until it turned green then we both floored it we were side by side until he shifted to 3rd then he killed me the other race was about 40 mins ago. I was on my way to Blockbuster and I saw this Bullit Mustang pull out the parking lot and he passed by me , he stoped and reved his engine so i turned around and followed him out from the parking lot and out to the street he was stopped at a light and I pulled next to him and he was reving his engine so wen the light turned green we both took off and i was side by side for about 5 seconds and he just passed me. I looked to the side and I saw the back of his Stang pushing down wen he shifted I counln't catch him so I just flashed my high beams then he flashed his turn signals. Both races were greaaaat I had so much fun today IM waiting until the end of the year so I can trade my 2000 automatic V6 for a 2000 5speed GT |

Sounds like you really know how to launch or those other guys aren't quite as good at it. You were definately the underdog in both races, and hangin with either of those cars, even for a little while must have certainly got their heart thumpin.

Unit , this is what likely happened vs. the bullit: Silverv6 puts his foot down off the line, and leaves with little to no spin. Meanwhile, Mr. Bullit takes off easy, to see if this v6 is game, and when he sees that the guy is trying, floors it, powershifts, and is gone.
Good deaths, silverv6 !

No, silverv6 , my GT feels nothing like a 5speed unfortunately, but I love the ease of just slipping it into D and going. You'll love the 5speed GT if you get one!

you know what's funny? if this guy was driving a civic, he would have said that he let them win, or he would have said that he won the races. i like hearing about the wins, but it is so refreshing to see other people lose like me backup to the stang for me is an 85 crapmaro which = lots of losses
