Dark Knight: The weather was about 3 degrees cooler (74) and the humidity was 100% both times. Of course tonight it's 60 degrees and 70% humidity.
I believe the slicks were 1/2 inch taller. They were Hoosier 26x9's. Badazz89LX: I had just installed a 31 spline Eaton w/Superior axles along with the 4.10's. There was no way I was going to use slicks w/stock axles. A friend of mine twisted the end off a stock axle on Nitto's two weeks ago!! I have heard good/bad about the chips. The over-the-counter chips are crap, but I have heard good things about custom chips that are burned while on the dyno. There is no doubt I will make 12's pretty easily. I should be able to the 60' down in the 1.7 range when I get a few things sorted out (transmission, control arms, driving ability, etc.) Plus my torque boxes weren't in real great shape before last night, so they're probably in really bad shape now! I'm shooting for 12.80's when I get everything sorted out.

Our engine combos produce about the same power. The heads are the same, the specs on our cams are about the same and the intakes are close in performance.
I recently switched from 3.08s to 4.10s. The mph stayed the same but I lost a tenth; probably due to the extra wheel spin through the first 2 gears. I think your numbers will improve once you get an after market tach. The factory tach is way "off" in the upper rpms (over 5000). As an example, 5500 rpms on my autometer is equivalent to 6200 rpms on the factory tach. I shift at 5700 on the autometer tach and the factory tach needle is buried in the red and I still don't trip the limiter. So probably still short shifting with the factory tach. Good luck!

running that high of fuel pressure means that you should probably step up to a bigger injector...you're having to increase the pressure to make up for lack of flow...

AJstang:
That's an awesome MPH! Do you have 24#'ers? If so, what is your FP set at? Also, do you have the 51014 cam? My car had that cam in it when I bought, but I was told it was a E-303, so I bought the Stage 1. Both cams are very similar in specs, and I would have kept the Lunati if I had known. I'm probably going to get a new tach next week. So many things to buy, so little money!! Transmission, clutch, tires, gauges, control arms, drag-launch kit, hhmmmmm what else?? By the way, has anybody else noticed the ad in 5.0 Mustang for Strange's adjustable shocks and struts? 10-way adj. struts for $111 a piece, QA1's=$230. Helluva deal! Just wondering.
