I didn't think the stories were true. I thought the 03 Cobra would lay the smack down on the LS1. I didn't think it would get beat by the LS1, not even by the lightly moded ones. I thought it was the brand loyalist and kids thinking that their car was the pinnacle of automobile performance. That's the hot topic in the kill section on LS1.com. I'm sure some of the stories are dreamers.
I've been trying to talk the wife into getting one cause she's do for a new car. I want her to join me on the track. I want a new car to mod. I think the 03 Cobra looks bitchen. I want a chance to pilot one down the quarter!

Not diss'n '03 Coba
I'm not diss'n the 'o3 Cobra by any means. I just don't believe that...... (filter + pulley + X-pipe = 120 RWHP).

Just an fyi, but i gained 53rwhp and 86rwtq from an L pulley alone!! My chip got me 29rwhp and 40rwtq! I need to get redynoed though because my plugs where blowing out from the xtra boost! to wide of a gap
Also make no mistake it only takes a few mods to get a ls1 into the 12's consistantly! which is right where the 03 is stock! sounds like a good race!! get a catback, Pulley, chip! 3 best mods for the $$. you won't believe the SOP difference! lightly modded ls1 will be a thing of the past Leon

525 brake HP?
So you think a filter, pulley, and X pipe will make 525 flywheel HP on an '03 Cobra? I doubt that very seriously.
(120/.83)+380= 524.6 Rev

Ya gotta have faith...hehe. I could very seriously see it, although it would take that for me to believe. Follow 5.0&SF...they are doing an 03 buildup.

I don't think those mods are enough for 525hp(fwhp) but add a chip and some tuning and I may be inclined to say YES!!

Will that 100 shot be used as an after cooler? Im actually thinking of adding a 75 shot to my combo, just not sure if my stock motor can take it.

I will be using it to try to cool down the blower. I know a couple people have done it, and with a 100hp shot, they are get about 116-130hp from the shot.. There is alot of power to be had by cooling down that blower..
