Looks like the t/a is fast. Questioin though, were you really racing? I only see one open lane past the traffic.

Wasn't me. Not sure what the Mustang driver's intentions are in the video. The video and subsequent comments caught on the video are pretty funny. I'm not sure if the Mustang was racing or not. I don't hear their engine spool up but the cameraman dips forward as if he let off the gas, but that's pure speculation.

You bet! Post'em They'll be added to my video collection. S-10 trucks and Astro Vans don't count (unless the S-10's a Syclone, that'll count).

Oh, I think you'd be surprised. It's just that there aren't any around anymore to run. Syclones ran mid-low 13 1/4 miles factory. Nothing spectacular from a light little truck, but the AWD with a few cheap tweaks and mid-low 12's are pretty easy.

Nice video! Were you spraying on that run?

Your turbo T/A runs real hard for the small amount of mods... is it normal or is your just one of those factory runners?

Thanks.

Mine's ballpark for what I've done. Personally I think it could have done a little better. The day I ran my best time there was a 30-35mph headwind. Plus I was running with street tires and didn't lower the PSI. Oh well...

A guy just took his low mile TTA to the track and posted his times today. Here's what he wrote:
----------------------------------------------------------------
Here's your fantasy 12.37 @ 111 mph 1.80 60 ' Thats with the
stocker!

These cars absolutely KICK *** !!

it was 40 degrees when i ran that

Since i know its coming here's the mods

160 stat
coolant lines blocked on the TB
K & N
RACECHIP
Bleeder valve
lockup switch
C12 Racegas
NO CAT
BFG DRAG RADIALS

Thanks for the accolades

I sold the Typhoon to generate capital for the GN, plus I only have a two car garage for the moment. Later on I'll probably add either another Typhoon or Syclone the current TTA and GN when I get a larger garage.

The full boost brake-torque launch from the AWD Typhoon is indescribable. There were some awsome .avi's of a Typhoon doing donuts at www.sportmachines.com. It's wild seeing all 4 tires smoking as he's doing 360's. That convinced me to get one. It wasn't quite fast enough for me and I wasn't going to mod it. It was all original. I've got a thing for all original stuff. My TTA has 3 mods (chip, downpipe, no cat) and 13,000 miles, the GN is 100% factory original and just turned 600 miles. The Typhoon had 28,000 miles when I sold that a few months ago.

Anyway, that's the dope. As they say, "you only live once!"

Nice video!. I love the sound of the turbo spooling. Sometimes I think I just paid for the sound.
