Could not run a 12 last night
Too weeks ago, before the axle broke I went on a Wed night. 12.70 right off the street, 1.7 60ft with the raidials. Well Monday I left work for a minute and noticed my car felt down on power. Last night first pass was a 13.34 then a 13.20, then 13.20, then a 13.02. The mph was as good as 107.9. The best 60ft I could muster was a 1.96. I really think the track was at fault. If I have not touched the car the 60ft should not have gone away. But also there is the fact that it didn't feel fast during the week. What do yall thing?

Atmospheric conditions?
Were the atmospheric conditions the same. I know my car ran .3 seconds faster with cold, dry air last week. But if it's the 60' time that's suffering, it seems like it must be the track that's doing it. Trap speeds being similar should mean equal power. Just a few thoughts.

No he didn't broke it, Dat lil bastard wint into hideden. He passes quiet now yea sha. No really, I think that on a Wed night they don't prep the track as good or even at all. One pass I launched perfect, yanked 2nd and spun sideways, that sucked, 13.34.

From what I've heard, the track prep makes a huge difference. I've talked to many people who run 2.1-2.3 on street legal night and can get into the 1.9-2.0 on test and tune days. Radial cars chew up the starting line pretty badly so it may have been from too many radial cars. There must've been some pretty mean track prep to run 1.7's on regular radials, I've never seen it been done at either of the tracks I've been to.

The party is over. I put the mosers in today. Can you say slicks boys and girls. The track don't have to be preped now. I am back in business.
Reaction time has nothing to do with it Hob.

Yeah I know I wasen't thinking! Thats how you can run a faster time and still lose the race. But, it wont effect your trap times
