Question About how quick can i run the 1/4?

I was just wondering about how quick do you guys think i can run the quarter mile? I tried the analyzer but don't know how accurate that thing is. So just curious what you guys think? All my mods are in my sig. I figure with those mods i'm probably around 240 hp with around 300 lbs./ft torque, flywheel of course. I hoping to go 14.7 err something around there.

With traction you should be in the 13s with those mods assuming you have a manual. Get some heads and a cam and it will really come alive.

Depends. How much do you weigh? I get to the 1/8 mile and i am out of breath. Takes me 35 seconds to get there.

probably around 3300-3400 lbs. without the spare it's probably closer to 3300.

13's? wow i wasn't thinkin' it would be that fast. Do you mean on slicks when you say "traction"? I'm just going to be running on street tires at least for now.

I don't think it would take slicks, but you might want to get some drag radials. If you get 2.0 or better 60-fts (which you can do with good street tires with practice) you should be able to hit 13s.

On street tires, I'm going to guess 14.5.

Good luck,

When I had about the same mods, (I had a C&L 73 and stock TB, Underdrives, ceneterforce clutch, longtubes, ported stock intake) I went 13.90's at around 102MPH with 2.0 60ft's. But this was in Ohio too. Just give it hell

Default 14's

I'm betting low to mid 14's at best. I doubt you'll see 13's with 240 HP and 3300 lbs.

I'm with you on this one. I had almost the same setup- cold air, 1 5/8 equal length shorties, flows, and 3.73's, and pullies and I hit 14.7 on street tires. I still have the stock heads, cam and intake though. I installed the rest of whats in my sig, and I am at low 14's with no traction. BTW - my car weighs 3500 with me in it. If I got some slicks, I would expect a dramatic decrease in time. Hopefully that'll be soon!!
