Take out all the weight you can. If you have a standard radial tire air it to about 28psi and give the fronts 40 (for the race only). Letting air out of air shocks can help a ton. Remember with street tires its better to launch to low and bog then it is to launch to high and spin. Keep your cool that is key in a street race, don't get giddy and make a mistake.
