I agree, lots of people do the sticker dyno. Have you seen this car running on the street?

If it really makes that power great, you will not need 800rwhp all you will need is about 550-600ish especially if you go from a stop. The supra's power band is real narrow compared to a V8 and their power under the curve is not as good. Thus a stang can do more with less.

Well, here's a clip of a claimed 600whp Supra vs a 500rwhp Cobra: http://supra.sysadmin-racing.com/videos/temp/cruise.wmv
BTW - the Supra sounds SICK!!!!!!

the previous post was correct. Run him from a dig and you'll only need about 500-600hp. Supra's SUCK off the line.......they're killer from a roll though.
But make sure he isn't full of shit about having 800hp. -Josh, aka the tireburner

Solarassult - just telling us the engines in both vehicles are 5.0L's doesn't help us at all.
Modded or stock? Gearing? Trans? Etc.... BTW - you live in Atco. Why don't you take care of your stuff on the 1/4 mile? There's no reason at all you should be messing around on the street with a track minutes from your residence. Plus, you'll get real timesand MPH and you won't have to play these guessing games.

j/k Welcome to MustangWorks! Yes, your 'combo' is the aggregate of aftermarket parts you have on your car. And, Ackbar will hound you for days, if not weeks, until you get a signature made! E

A. Not makin the power they claim B. A horrible driver C. Scared to get embarassed infront of a crowd etc. etc...... Tell them to bring out the proof of the 800 hp and then consider it, till then just blow them off and consider it a 800hp pipe dream.

That is because "the track", "all tracks", are in a different space-time continuums. Where 10 second cars are quickly turned into 14 second slugs. Quote:
Some of the Lincoln motors are the same as the mustang. The AOD should be his down fall if it is stock and you have a five speed. If it is a non H.O. 5 liter in the ranger and it is stock you still should beat him.
