Default need info on a 99 viper acr

Anyone ever heard of these? He says it has a 3" exhaust ,after market rims/tires and a chip. Claiming 500 hp. I plan on running him from a 30 roll when i get my car back for fun. i`ve never heard of the acr though and am curious. Also, he said its a 450 hp car stock, is that at the wheels or flywheel?

I remember hearing about them. I just Googled Viper ACR and found them online. http://www.vipercentral.com/viperacr/viperacr.htm

That Viper should be pretty killer from a roll, but I think you can take him with your blower installed and a good tune.

That was a good article, The origional owner had the a/c and power locks and that stuff added. I`m still not sure are those numbers rear wheel or flywheel? And it had no track times on it.

REV - No times at all. My car is having the blower installed at Idle Wild Racing this week and most of next. Its gonna be dyno tuned though so i`ll at least know where I stand power wise.

Yikes!! You think you can really take a viper??! That would be pretty cool, even being able to beat a stock one with a modified car would be an accomplishment. As you said, its all for fun, good luck and have fun.

14 psi of intercooled boost plus a nice H/C/I package.....you should make well over 500 RWHP.

Get a pair of slicks and you should do fine.

Slicks are a big no no. Atleast until I get rid of my stock axles. Thats gonna be my next project, until then i`ll spin the nittos on pony wheels and hope nothing goes south

As long as you can drive you should walk on him. Sounds like a fun race to me.

I still cant believe I hung with a 451rwhp car. Doesnt make sence.
