HElP.....can i win this race against 1996 Z28

well we raced yesterday....it was gr8. Heres the story. We were both at a light turning left. He was in fron of me in the left turn lane. He tunred and gave it some gas i did wut i had to to keep up. Anyways, we slowed down to about 20 and i bumped him a couple of times. We both floored it, he got a lot of tire spin, i kept mine to a small sqeak. Somehow he pulled about 1/4 of a car on me but as the speed got faster i quickly reeled him in. By the time we hit 90 i had blown him away. It was gr8 i was so proud of my stang. anyways he has the Lt1 and well it really didnt seem that fast. Thanks fer the input guys.
